Well, since you asked… Here’s a little more about me!

I was born in Pescara, a mid-size town in Abruzzo, on the east coast of central Italy (photo below!)

As a kid, I always had a love and fascination for the arts, specifically singing and drawing.

Growing up I didn't have many opportunities to watch live theatre. I do remember the one show and the impact it had on me, as a 8 years old: Notre-Dame de Paris (not the Disney one!)

The music, the singing, the high stakes brought on stage, the beautiful choreography, the ingenious set. It got me completely enchanted. My best friend and I used to have our own little reenactment of the play in our bedrooms (I always ended up playing Frollo, somehow).

For many years, I never considered doing professional theatre a viable path for myself. I took singing lessons, performed in choirs and as a soloist in small concert venues, but it was mostly for my own enjoyment.

I obtained my Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Torino, Italy, followed by a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the same university. I then got the opportunity to move to Chicago to work on a second Master Degree in Computer Engineering with a focus on Embedded Systems at the University of Illinois in Chicago.

Since moving to the US, my passion for musical theatre has cemented and it has become my ultimate professional goal. I started auditioning and performing in the area, and dedicating myself to continually supplement my training in the multiple disciplines that make up this craft. I'm incredibly grateful for all the wonderful teachers and instructors I've learned from throughout the years.

I'm looking forward to all the future exciting opportunities to make magic on stage!
